Ty Clwb is well placed  in the Snowdonia Nationa Park to be an ideal base for visiting the mountains, rivers, lakes, forests and  beaches. Thereare many public  footpaths giving a variety of  interesting local and mountain  walks.                                   Nearby are many        attractions including the  scenic Ffestiniog railway,        the Italianate village     of Portmeirion, historic  castles (Harlech,Caernarfon),   and the slate and copper               mines.
